Jan Mucha

[edit]

A deal was agreed upon between Everton and Legia Warsaw on 23rd January that he would sign in the summer on a Bosman, I have however been unable to find this transfer both in this list and the list of transfers for Winter 2009-10. Should he be added to this list or the older version.

Here is an article from evertonfc.com confirming the transfer [1].

No League One/Two transfers included

[edit]

I am outraged by this, and feel they need inclusion, i'm a Shrewsbury Town fan and it's still part of the Football League, so someone please add them. Sepmix (talk) 13:28, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you seriously think that we should more than double the size of this article by including League One and League Two transfers just because you are "outraged"? Ridiculous. – PeeJay 10:25, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure many more would feel the same, like I said, League One and League Two should also be included as they're part of the Football League, so why should they be excluded? Wikipedia is supposed to carry as much information as possible, and yes the article should be expanded as necessary. Don't you dare insult me, i've not lowered myself to make cheap insults. Sepmix (talk) 14:53, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Who's being insulting? You have simply failed to take into account the enormity of the task that you are proposing, and people aren't going to make any changes simply because you've gotten a little annoyed (which I suspect is more the case than you being "outraged"). – PeeJay 16:53, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Insulting in the sense of calling my proposal ridiculous. Sepmix (talk) 16:44, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps "ridiculous" was a bad choice of word, but if you're "outraged" because a Wikipedia article doesn't include info about your favourite team, I think you need to get your priorities in order. – PeeJay 19:30, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Why not make a separate page? I'm sure Sepmix would be happy to help out on that page . . . Imlikeaboss (talk) 05:22, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Was thinking about the other 45 teams too actually, as lower leagues should be featured as they have done in the past, they are part of the Football League you know. Never mind. Sepmix (talk) 15:32, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Should we remove transfers for players without pages? In most cases they'd be youth players and not first-team material, so it wouldn't matter if their transfers weren't listed. Imlikeaboss (talk) 05:25, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If they're on the original reference, than no. – Michael (talk) 02:31, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed via a sort of the "Moving to" column that Manchester united's transfer of "Bebe" is not on there? 78.154.96.146 (talk) 14:34, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brad Jones

[edit]

I sorted the table by 'Fee' and for some reason Brad Jones (M'boro -> L'pool, £2.3m) rests between David Silva (Valen -> Man C, £24m) and Javier Mascherano (L'pool -> Barca, £18.9m). I assume this is because the table reads Jones' value as £23m not £2.3m, but I don't know how to fix it. BulbaThor (talk) 15:51, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
