Discrepancy?

[edit]

Is there any reason why this list doesn't match up with the list of England caps on the ECB website? For example, Rosalie Birch is down here as being #101, but the ECB gives her as #96, and Laura Marsh is listed as #108 here, but as #103 on the ECB site. See here for the ECB's list. – PeeJay 10:09, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The discrepancy is the 2001 Women's European Championship, in that file the ECB record the appearances made in that tournament as for England Under-19 rather than England whereas both Cricinfo and CricketArchive list it as England. So according to the ECB Clare Gough, Laura Joyce, Kate Oakenfold and Alexia Walker never played for the full England team and players like Sarah Clarke, Isa Guha and Ebony-Jewel Rainford-Brent made their debuts later. I believe that's the only discrepancy but I haven't fully checked. --Jpeeling (talk) 09:53, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
