Bill Gates and Pope John Paul II
[edit]I thought both Bill Gates and Pope John Paul II were mentioned in the books. I'm not really sure when, but I remember seeing their names in the books. -- Imperator3733 (talk) 06:01, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- It was true that Norman did get furniture from Bill Gate's home and they did find a skeleton there but there was no evidence to say it was Gates. As for John Paul II I remeber him being mentioned but I don't remember him being killed when cannibals stormed the Vatican. I got the impression he fled into central Italy with other church officials and died there. Still my memory isn't perfect, I'll try looking in the books for a reference and if you can too we can come up with an answer to these questions.Zombie Hunter Smurf (talk) 17:00, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
The Pope _refused_ to leave and it is assumed that he died in the ruins of Rome.65.79.173.135 (talk) 19:57, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Will iin New Haven65.79.173.135 (talk) 19:57, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Ted Kaczynski
[edit]I can't seem to find Ted Kaczynski mentioned by name in any of the books. (If I've overlooked this, a correction would be appreciated.) It does make sense that he and the first Prophet are one and the same, but this shouldn't be stated as fact without attribution.Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 06:47, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm fairly sure he's mentioned in the fourth (or maybe fifth) book. I'll try to move the search up on my to-do list. I agree that we need attribution, but I'd rather see the statement left for now.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 17:32, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- I got no hits on Google Books. I'd guess that there are legal issues. Poor S.M., he can murder the Mayor of Portland, but he can't slander a terrorist! Anyway, I'll leave the references to you. But if the name isn't there, WP should say that the character resembles TK, but is never named as such. Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 20:35, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- No objection to the delete; if I find the ref somewhere, I can re-add the information.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 01:38, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- Don't want to delete (it's interesting), just want it to be accurate.Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 01:56, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
