Numbering

Why is the pilot labeled episode "100" but the season 2 premier "201"? That makes the 16th episode of season 1 be 1x15 but the 16th episode of season 2 is 2x16. That's nonsensical and arbitrary. Is this an official production code? Elsewhere, production codes are given in addition to straight airing order numbering. --Tysto (talk) 02:09, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
