Number list

[edit]

What is the purpose of the number list? It makes it harder to edit someone into an episode if it isn't being edited into the most recent episode. Ohyeahmormons 16:12, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think Mekhi Phifer would be a fair celebrity addition here. I consider him for famous of an actor than Bob Odenkirk, Brad Hall, or a few of the others listed here. Does anyone else think this is fair?

Richard Lewis is more of a cast member than a "celebrity appearance" as he appears in practically every other episode. We might as well include Larry David and Cheryl Hines while we're at it.

Rob Corddry

[edit]

I think Rob Corddry should also be on the list; not only was his performance as a sex offender hilarious, he is essentially on the same par as Stephen Colbert. Anyone else agree? Sugemax 02:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Playing Themselves?

[edit]

The intro paragraph says "[celebrities] have lent their celebrity to the show, playing themselves." It looks like many of the celebrities listed here do not fall into this category. Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Richard Lewis certainly fit, but Bob Odenkirk does not. Odenkirk plays a character on the show. If you include him (and others like him) then shouldn't every single actor who appears on the show be listed?

The fact that the show has so many celebrities playing themselves is unique and interesting; and probably deserves an article. But a list of every actor on the show makes no sense.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, I don't get it. Stephen Colbert was definitely not playing himself. There needs to be a new column for actors who weren't playing themselves. --Liface (talk) 12:21, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two characters who appear frequently as much more than guest stars (along with Richard Lewis) are Marty Funkhouser [portrayed by Bob Einstein and the Ted Danson character. These two should be added to the primary cast list on the template right after the Lewis character as they are in way too many seasons and episodes to be considered guests. - Zarbon (talk) 23:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Susie Essman listed as a guest star? She's a member of the cast. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.119.251.200 (talk) 03:43, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Susie Essman has only been member of the main cast as of season 8. In season 2-7 she was credited as guest star in the episodes that she appeared in. --Mondotta (talk) 17:59, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tia Carrere as Cha-Cha in Season 6

[edit]

Tia Carrere appeared in a few episodes of season six as Richard's girlfriend Cha-Cha and receptionist in Larry's office. She should be included, though I don't know which episodes. --Mongreilf (talk) 21:25, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

She did appear, but she did not receive guest star credit in any of the episodes. --Mondotta (talk) 21:53, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So presumably she should be placed in the appearing but not credited as guest star section of the article.--Mongreilf (talk) 15:20, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article only has exceptions for people not credited as guest stars when they play themselves. --Mondotta (talk) 15:47, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
