Merge Proposal
[edit]It has been propossed that the List of Quebec Nordiques head coaches be merged with this article. I for one Oppose this merge. As has been the concensus for quite some time that when team move locations we keep the lists seperate. Both lists are more than long enough to exist on their own. The Quebec list is long enough to be a FL for sure while the Colorado list is probably not that far off from being long enough if a bunch of prose was added to the top of the article. -Djsasso (talk) 16:57, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose: The teams have separate articles and should have separate coach lists. That aside, who made this proposal, and with what justification? Ravenswing 17:07, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Comment User:Annoyomous24, and as far as I can tell its because they put it up for FL and have been told it won't pass unless the two are merged. Which is BS since we have passed a number of similar lists that are unmerged. I will let them voice their support on their own, but since they never notified the project about the merge and proceeded to merge on their own last time which I had to unmerge. I wanted to make sure a discussion was kick started this time.-Djsasso (talk) 17:09, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Reading the comments myself, the suggestion was for the resolution of the merge tag. That aside, I'm wondering on what basis this is a FL candidate? Ravenswing 17:11, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Personally I would just fill out the missing info for the WHA coaches on the Quebec page and pursue FL on that one. -Djsasso (talk) 17:16, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

- Oppose Like you fellas said, we don't merge re-located teams with their past selves. Nor shall we, with their respective coach lists. GoodDay (talk) 18:27, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose I agree with GoodDay actually. I don't want any conflict against me. Sorry fo all the fuss... -- K. Annoyomous24 20:12, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- No fuss at all, we are all allowed to have our own opinions. Some of us are a little more vocal than others. Sorry if I bit you in any way. -Djsasso (talk) 20:15, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Me too. Sorry if I also bit you in any way. -- K. Annoyomous24 20:27, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Updating
[edit]This article needs updating, as Tony Granato is the current coach. GoodDay (talk) 19:55, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- It says that in the introduction, but the stats won't reflect that until after the season because we dont update those till after the season remember? -Djsasso (talk) 19:56, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
So it does; where's my glasses & my memory pills? GoodDay (talk) 20:05, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
