Copy from Calgary Flames
[edit]This page appears to be a partial copy from Calgary Flames. I can't find any discussion about the split and was curious about why it has been copied. Is the original text on the Calgary Flames going to be deleted or summarized? Is the Calgary Flames article going to link to this one?--Billy (talk) 06:02, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've already responded to this at Talk:Calgary Flames. If you wish a further discussion on why I split the articles, I would recommend keeping it in one place. Regards, Resolute 06:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. Thanks.--Billy (talk) 06:10, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Positions
[edit]In the table under the "Individual awards" section—and only for the NHL All-Rookie Team, NHL First All-Star Team, and NHL Second All-Star Team—it would be helpful to indicate the players' positions after their name, like so:
— Twas Now ( talk • contribs • e-mail ) 04:37, 23 September 2008 (UTC) Not a bad idea. Consider it done. Resolute 20:31, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Individual awards
[edit]Shouldn't awards a Flames player hasn't won be listed, such as the Hart or Norris? --Flyer47 (talk) 05:27, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think that's a good idea. It shows where their players have historically fallen short. We could put "Never won" and have a footnote if any players have been on the "shortlist". Has the three-person shortlist always been announced, or is that a new thing? — Twas Now ( talk • contribs • e-mail ) 05:33, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- They release the final vote for all vote getters. [1] I'm not sure whether they have always announced a shortlist or not. --Flyer47 (talk) 05:43, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- I can't say as I see a great need to list awards that a Flames player has never won, but at the same time, there's no harm in adding them. Consider it done. Resolute 14:13, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- They release the final vote for all vote getters. [1] I'm not sure whether they have always announced a shortlist or not. --Flyer47 (talk) 05:43, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Nitpicking
[edit]Should we mention that Vernon's jersey number during his 2000-02 Flames stint, was #29? GoodDay (talk) 16:23, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so, personally. The #30 was retired in his honour, and the banner itself includes the dates of both his first and second stints. Resolute 18:40, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
