After seeing some english & hindi movies , i realised some similarities between them. Here are some of the hindi movies inspired from english movies. NOTE--Most of the films i have watched myself and most of the comments in the relation section are mine only. Angelofheaven 15:38, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That is WP:OR and that is my point. Please remove the OR from the article. Toddstreat1 15:41, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

merge issue with 'Bollywood films and plagiarism'

[edit]

But i am against it

1. 'Bollywood films and plagiarism' concentrate on all kind of plagiarism including copy of other indian language films .But my topic is concerning only international english films .

2. 'Bollywood films and plagiarism' mainly concentrate on 'plagiarism' in bollywood. But some bollywood movies do have copy of scenes or characters of hollywood movies, yet they donot come under 'plagiarism'. My topic covers those movies also as it uses the word 'inspired' instead of 'plagiarism'.

3. 'Bollywood films and plagiarism' does not give relations b/w english & hindi movies.

4. 'Bollywood films and plagiarism' title is not so much reachable(according to my view)to normal people who doesnot know more about 'plagiarism'.

I understand what you are saying, but some of the movies you are mentioning are already listed in the other article. What if you create a new section in the other article with the title "Inspired from English movies" or whatever and redirect people from this article to the new section of the existing one? There often is a grey area between inspiration and plagiarism with an fluent transition. Actually I just found the other article by searching for your new one. Please also post your objections at the other talk page. Regards Tirkfltalk 11:02, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanks Tirkfl for your advice. But if i merge the topic there will be many conflicts. According to them

We asked people to cite at least one review claiming plagiarism, and discuss the pros and cons at the article for the film. No one is bothering to do that. People are just putting up accusations and leaving. Are we going to have to do a weekly prune of allegations that don't meet the standard? Zora 23:44, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

But some films like [Jaani_Dushman:_Ek_Anokhi_Kahani] does have scenes and character similarities like in [The Terminator]. These films cannot be called as remake or copy (plagiarism), so cannot be added to [Bollywood films and plagiarism].

BUT in this topic these films can be included .

I hope that u understand my point.i am removing merge from the topic. can u help me ,how arrange the first row alphabatically i.e the hindi movies column.

I am re-adding the merge template as Angelofheaven cannot decide this unilaterally. Please do not remove it without consensus. Toddstreat1 14:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
