As I have noticed the historical flags show the flag of the British Empire, British East Indies Company, British Raj and India but the nation(Bhutan) has remained “mostly sovereign” in its internal affairs and only dependent on “regional” power on external affairs. It is possible that this flags flew as to distinguish missionaries but probably not as an official flag of Bhutan. Bhutaneseofbhutan (talk) 14:12, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, i removed the british flags, since it has never been colonized in its history. The Bhutanese state developed a distinct national identity based on Buddhism and the territory was composed of many fiefdoms and governed as a Buddhist theocracy.[1]JJUPLOADS22 (talk) 21:32, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
