The image File:Michael X.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Unsourced entries

[edit]

I have removed all unsourced entries from the list. In case anyone wants to reinstate them, supported by a reliable source, I have listed those entries that were removed below, as they appeared before I removed them. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:57, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questionnable entries

[edit]

As far as the Wikipedia page for Minnie Driver [1] is correct, it seems she does not qualify as a citizen of the United Kingdom "whose ethnic origins lie fully or partially in the Caribbean island of Barbados".

It seems that her father, who was from Scottish and English origins, just move to Barbados during a part of his life and that, during that period, she spent her school holidays there.

I dare not to remove her name from the list, nor to edit the Wikipedia page in itself, because I am not a specialist of the matter but it might be worth writing somewhere that the denomination "Barbadian Briton" is questionable in this case (IMHO) unless the Wikipedia article about her is wrong.

I leave this to more Wikipedia skilled users or more educated Barbadian specialists to decide.

I have removed her, Gilles Maisonneuve. The burden of demonstrating evidence is on the editor who adds material, so if you want to challenge something like this then you shouldn't feel that you can't remove it. See WP:VERIFY. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:42, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
