Linking to locations

[edit]

@Rich Farmbrough: Hello! About your edit here, MOS:GEOLINK seems to recommend linking the city and state together -- for example, Berkeley, California and not Berkeley, California, or, similarly, Los Angeles, California and not Los Angeles, California. Jimmy Hastings

[edit]

someone should add musician Jimmy Hastings who passed away March 18th 2024 (see his Wikipedia entry). Thanks. SpotALoony (talk) 20:43, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bad source?

[edit]

@TenPoundHammer: Hello! About this, why is that a bad source? Is Saving Country Music not a reliable reference, and if not, why not? Mudwater (Talk) 01:17, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Mudwater: See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Sources#Generally_unreliable_sources. Self-published one-person blog with no editorial oversight and sometimes polemicizing content is the reason given for Saving Country Music not being an RS, and there is consensus to this point on previous WP:RSN discussions. I see. Thanks for explaining. Mudwater (Talk) 01:24, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
