Equestrian

[edit]

List of 2008 Summer Olympics medal winners (which has FL status) does not include the names of the participating horses. Should we remove the names of the horses here as well? --Another Believer (Talk) 15:15, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Horses are considered athletes as much as their riders, but medals are only given to the human partner. I'd be fine with any option, though, since the event's page shows the horses names. Parutakupiu (talk) 15:24, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you on both accounts. I will leave them for now--they can be removed if reviewers see fit. (By the way, thank you for assisting with this list! I am very impressed with your work, having looked at your profile. Feel free to help as much as you wish.) --Another Believer (Talk) 15:36, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's a pleasure. It's been hard to find helpful committed editors for Olympics-related pages, so it's me who must thank you for your help on this list. Parutakupiu (talk) 16:06, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Doubles

[edit]

For the sake of consistency, we should determine whether the Individual or the Team template should be used for pairs. Some instances of doubles display the name of the country with the two participants' names below, while other instances display the two participants' names with the name of the country below. Preference? I will try to see what other FL lists display. --Another Believer (Talk) 17:03, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
