All My Children; 1983

[edit]

1983: All My Children features the first gay story line on daytime television. Donna Pescow, as lesbian child psychiatrist Lynn Carson, talks about her sexual orientation with her good friend Devon McFadden (Tricia Pursley Hawkins.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.148.31.196 (talk) 09:57, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cagney and Lacey

[edit]

The question is not whether the source is reliable. It is. The question is whether the source supports including the episode. It does not. All the source says about the episode is "Tony moves in next door to Cagney." It does not establish that the episode's overall theme is LGBT-related or even that Tony's sexual orientation is relevant to the episode or even mentioned in the episode. It merely documents the introduction of the character to the series. Additionally, a blanket reversion re-introduces style errors elsewhere in the piece. Simon & Simon

[edit]

The pilot episode had the two private detectives going to a gay bar in Mexico. Another episode had a joke about AIDS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.142.188.27 (talk) 18:54, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
