[edit]While there are several internet sources that say Lissette's year of birth is 1949, most of them are based on Wikipedia's source for Lissette's year of birth; but the year of her birth is listed as 1947 in several Spanish web sources:
http://www.mariaargeliavizcaino.com/m-DiccionarioTalentosCubanos.html http://www.encantodegente.com/fileadmin/archivoespectaculos/espectaculos104.htm
In addition, when Lissette was young and sang with her parents, she used to sing a song that went (in Spanish) something like this "mommy and daddy and one year later the stork brought me", her parents married on 1945 in May, Lissette's year of birth can't possibly be 1949 if she said "one year later" also if you count the months, she was born in March 10, 1947 that means she was born 1 year and 10 months after her parents married which makes sense. I have teared the internet to pieces looking for an actual trusted source to confirm this; but I can only share what I found and the history behind Lissette's life that I remember from my mother's stories. This is what's on the second link I gave, which basically says her mother was pregnant on June 1946.
I greatly regret the fact that these sources can't be used in the English Wikipedia due to most of it not possible to be understood by English users, however the Spanish Wikipedia has the wrong year as well.
