Notability criteria & declaration
[edit]Lisa Bero meets the WP Notability criteria for academics because she:
- has been elected Co-Chair of the Cochrane Collaboration (criteria 3)
- has made major contributions outside academia, in particular in tobacco control policy and at the World Health Organization (criteria 7).
Declaration: I am a friend of Lisa Bero's. As an active Wikipedia editor (as an active member of WikiProject Medicine and WikiProject NIH), I'm familiar with Wikipedia rules. I have relied carefully on third party sources and written with NPOV. My thanks to whoever reviews the page.
