Why Lioness: Hidden Treasures is classified as compilation album???

I agree. This is essentially a studio album with none of the tracks having been pre-released (the usual criteria of a compilation). The fact that the songs are culled from a variety of sessions over a span of years shouldn't make it a compilation. Whether an album comes from various sessions over months (normal for a studio album) or years shouldn't make any difference. Otherwise all studio albums are compilations of various sessions (excepting perhaps Please Please Me!).--Tuzapicabit (talk) 21:10, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's true. I'd say all tracks from L:HT were unreleased and they weren't from both Frank and Back to Black albums, except Tears Dry (Original Version) and maybe Valerie ('68 Version) --82.139.5.13 (talk) 19:39, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A compilation album is an album featuring tracks from one or more performers, often culled from a variety of sources (such as studio albums, live albums, singles, demos and outtakes.) All these songs are demos and outtakes. This classifies as a compilation album. Zac  04:43, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion between «Valerie» and «The Girl from Ipanema»

[edit]

«Valerie» is mentioned to be the 1968's version. How is it possible as this song was written by Dave McCabe, Boyan Chowdhury, Russell Pritchard, Sean Payne & Abi Harding, in 2006 ! In fact, this comement seems to be associated to «The Girl from Ipanema», witch the englisg version was written in 1963.

Classification

This album is clearly Ska and Soul, could someone please find the correct sources to display this? I love Amy and want her to be honored for her musical versatility. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.53.152.53 (talk) 13:13, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
