Lady Monckton
[edit]Hello! This site says she was an amateur actress. But even if she was a professional, we can just say she's "an actress". Laurence Olivier's article says he was an actor - it doesn't say he was a "professional" actor. Best regards, -- Ssilvers 07:06, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I seem to recall my liner notes for the Arcadians CD I have said he wrote some songs for her, in a couple major shows. That one that begins "Moon, moon, mischief-making moon..." If it matters, I could dig out the reference. Adam Cuerden talk 17:52, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Sure, sounds like useful information if the source counts as WP:RS. Best regards, -- Ssilvers 18:11, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Other Moncktons
[edit]There are also some songs of the period by G.E. Monckton with music by Marguerite Marigold (sometimes known as Marguerite Marigold Monckton), who also published other musical pieces on her own. Anybody know if there's a connection with Lionel M? Colonies Chris (talk) 11:04, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
