Copyright violation
[edit]I am the editor responsible for the recent edit. The assertion of user 64.180.185.125 aside, the article as it existed was more than "based on an entry by Frank Davey in the New Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature [sic]". With the exception of a handful of word substitutions and the lengthening of a sentence or two, the Wikipedia article was a word for word copy of that found in The Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature (1997). Kearns is most certainly deserving of an article, but the one provided was clearly in violation of copyright. Victoriagirl 20:24, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
