Lead
- As I'm sure you know, the lead needs to summarise the article per WP:LEAD :)
- I always forget to expand the lead, when I'm done. Now done.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Should "18th century" be "18th-century" (adjective)?
- It should. Done.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
History
- "Sir Horace Mann was a friend and long-time correspondent with Horace Walpole." - perhaps "Sir Horace Mann was a friend and long-time correspondent of Horace Walpole."?
- I couldn't decide whether to use "of" or "with". Changed.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Buildings
- I think architectural descriptions can be quite hard-going for the average Joe and so I would consider linking:
- bays
- Done--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- moulded
- Done--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- portico
- Already linked in second paragraph of building--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- cantilevered
- Done--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- bays
- "ice house" or "ice-house"? (you have both)
- Fixed.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Park
- Consider linking balustrade
- Done--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Access
- Just a suggestion, not a requirement, but this would perhaps be better merged into the former section, if it's never going to be longer than a sentence. It seems like it would fit.
- OK. Done.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
No links to disambiguation pages. External links all look like they're working. Spot checks of sources I can access show no problems with WP:V or plagiarism/copyvio.
Nice work, I enjoyed reading this. No real issues holding back promotion other than the expansion of the lead. I'll put it on hold.--BelovedFreak 20:35, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm glad you liked it. I'm working my way through writing articles on all of the Grade I listed buildings in the borough of Maidstone.--DavidCane (talk) 02:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for making those changes. I'm happy to list it as a good article, well done! (Look forward to seeing more of the same...) --BelovedFreak 10:34, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
