[edit]Has the USAF ordered Link 16 terminals for their F-15Es? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.105.80.54 (talk) 00:51, 28 February 2007 (UTC).
- Yes. They are all outfitted. 1 Sept 2007 [unsigned by 66.32.38.32 ]
Data rate
[edit]"upwards of 238 kb/s" - what does that mean? Shouldn't it be "up to"? Matt Whyndham 09:54, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Effective throughput varies based on several factors to include Reed-Solomon FEC, payload formtting (bit oriented or free text), message packing, and time slot assignment. There are simply too many iterations to cover in this entry. Also, "Link 16 maximum data rate" is meaningless without putting it into context. 1 Sept 2007 [unsigned by 66.32.38.32 ]
Does it support push and pull protocols
[edit]Does it support push and pull protocols, eg. can nodes request specific types of data, or is all data broadcast to all nodes ? - Rod57 (talk) 13:11, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
