[edit]Hi I didn't appreciate the nomination of Linda Jackson (designer). If you look at my work, including The Pheasantry which I created from scratch, including photos, and in Granny Takes a Trip and other articles such as Jenny Kee, you see I am creating a lot of material on designers and the counterculture of the 1960s. I still have work to do on the Jackson article - she was a business partner of Jenny Kee who is undoubtedly notable (there is a film appearing about her next year) and she has featured in exhibitions at the V&A. Obviously I need to do some further research on Linda and I don't appreciate having to store it on my own computer in case it is deleted. Could you please wait a bit until I consolidate the article. - Okay, so Jackson is worthy of mention in the Jenny Kee article... -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 16:06, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- She is worthy of mention in this article. Her life's work is set out here [1]. She is cited as a major force in Australian design here [2]. She was one of the pioneers of ethnic Australian design. West one girl (talk) 16:26, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with West one girl. Notability for Jackson has been firmly established, therefore the article should not be nominated for deletion.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:15, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
