Valid Entry?
[edit]How does the self-serving material constituting the entirety of this page qualify as a valid Wikipedia entry? It appears to be someone simply posting her own c.v. as if it were important reference material for the rest of us. azaner 19:05, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Addison is incredibly accomplished as a trial attorney, and as a "trailblazer" for Texas women litigators, I believe she is worthy of a wiki page. Having known her for several years, I can vouch that she never would have posted this herself -- she's too damn busy to care about something like this! Just my two cents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.28.226.42 (talk) 21:54, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Simply being a highly skilled lawyer does not merit a wiki page. Many lawyers have similar accomplishments. This page reads like an advertisement for Ms. Addison. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.197.14.40 (talk) 22:05, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Linda Addison (lawyer) → Linda Addison (business executive and lawyer) – clarify disambiguation; Linda Addison has transitioned to a new career path Lihsa2016 (talk) 16:56, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). -- /Alex/21 21:16, 10 January 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose – Per my prior comment on the requesting editor's talk page. Per WP:CONCISE we only need to provide "sufficient information to identify the topic to a person familiar with the general subject area." The disambiguator does not need to include everything this Linda Addison has ever done. The term 'lawyer' seems sufficient. The other person also called Linda Addison is Linda Addison (poet).
