– Updated WP:MOSPHIL now allows <city name> only format for Philippine towns. Per precedent with RM's earlier this year such as those of Talk:Cagdianao and Talk:Baliuag. And also the following bold moves made by some Wikipedians before (not exhaustive):

READERSHIP STATS AS OF 09/19/2020, 8:45 AM (PHILIPPINE STANDARD TIME/UTC+8)

Limay

(total excluding the municipality article: 324 readers)

Mariveles

(total excluding the municipality article: 912 readers) JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 00:57, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this subsection with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's policy on article titles.
  • Oppose move of Limay: I don't see the Philippine municipality as having more long-term significance than the municipality in France or the river of Argentina. It may receive more pageviews, but this fact becomes largely irrelevant if you consider that the dab page itself receives barely any views (about one hit every other day), so there'll be very few readers who will benefit from being taken directly to this article. – Uanfala (talk) 13:40, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. The Bataan municipality gets 80% of pageviews, and there is no indication that the other topics have more significance. Clear primary topic. Dohn joe (talk) 16:32, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Limay. Long-term pageviews [1] show the Philippines place to be significantly more popular than anything else. Support Mariveles for similar reasons [2]. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:58, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
