Lim page

[edit]

Am I the only one who thinks that Lim should not redirect to Jorge Chávez International Airport? Not everybody who is looking for Lim is looking for the airport code LIM. I agree that of the eight things listed on the old Lim page, the airport is (probably) the most important. However, if you add (conceptually) the "importance" of the seven other things, they outweigh the airport by far. In other words, I think Lim should be what used to be at Lim, a disambiguation page: [1]. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 20:44, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes you are the only one who thinks that. For example ORD redirects to the O'Hare International Airport even though on the disambugation page there are twelve different pages linking to different people, places, and even rivers, just like the Lim river. Anyways the airport is by far more important than the other things there. It is one of the largest airports in Latin America and serves a a very large transfer point as TACA and LAN two of the largest airlines in Latin America have hubs there

I made it parallel to ORD. LIM redirects to the airport, Lim redirects to the disambiguation page. Same thing for ORD which redirects to the airport, but Ord redirects to the disambiguation page. Elektrik Blue 82 21:10, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I like it this way. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 21:39, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought you were talking about the all upper-case version. I didn't know you ment the Lim instead of LIM. Vivaperucarajo 23:33, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
