This source claims that she was "the daughter of Ben Thomas, an Iroquois Indian, and Ella Bronks, a black French woman." There certainly seems to be some disagreement between sources as to her parentage. In my view that should be reflected in our text. Ghmyrtle (talk) 20:51, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
