[edit]I don't think that Falling Uphill should be merged with Lillix's page. Starla Dear 17:54, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Merging the albums into the pages for the singers or groups is probably OK when they have 1 or 2 albums, but not when they have many albums (because it would then be too long). I think it's best to establish a general rule that all albums are discussed separately from the groups or singers, although they can be briefly referenced in the pages for the groups or singers. This approach would be more modular, more flexible, making it easier to locate information on albums without having to go through all the info for groups or singers. Perhaps up to one paragraph of text on the album(s) could be included in the summary/reference for the groups or singers, with the rest of the info in a separate entry for the album. (JD_Fan, Apr. 29/06)
- It's better to keep them all separate. It sounds like a good idea if a group only releases one or two albums, but if they end up releasing more over the long term, it requires the articles to be separated, which is more work than it's really worth. --fuzzy510 23:57, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Another key point here is that many other people, in addition to the singers, may be involved in an album (e.g., producer(s), other musicians, back-up singers, other songwriters, as the case may be). If you are interested in tracking the contributions of others, it's much easier to do through articles that are focused on the albums than on the singers. (JD_Fan, May 21/06)
Inside The Hollow
[edit]Can somebody change the release date for Inside The Hollow (U.S.) to Spring 2007? Its not going to be released on 1 January 2007. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misteeqfan3 (talk • contribs) 07:30, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- It can certainly be changed, but this is strange: Amazon.com already has the US release available for order (not pre-order), but has conflicting information for the release date. Strange, and makes me wonder what's correct. Either way, do you happen to have a source for the Spring 2007 date? -- Huntster T • @ • C 19:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I was watching MTV's TRL sometime in December 2006, and they were discussing what musical artists are making a comeback in the new year. They mentioned that Lillix will be returning to the U.S. in Spring 2007 with a turn on their original Pop and Rock rhythm to a more Punk and Rock theme for their new album. :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misteeqfan3 (talk • contribs) 13:29, 10 January 2007 (UTC).
Lillix And The Two New Members
[edit]Can somebody upload a new picture with Lillix's two new members, Ashley and Eric, and also some general information on them? Also it would be nice to clean up the Lillix wikipedia page as it looks very sloppy. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Misteeqfan3 (talk • contribs) 18:33, 9 May 2007 (UTC).
- I've not seen any information on them, but I've not really been looking. Are there any actual news articles mentioning them, as I don't believe I can screw around with the article any more and include MySpace Blog links (and I'll probably have to remove the ones already there). Also, what do you currently believe to be the problem with the article? I've cleaned it up about as well as it possibly can get, given the limited material I have to work with. -- Huntster T • @ • C 18:44, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Neither so am, but here is a picture, http://www.lillix.net/, and remove the "was" and all in past because the band has not broken up, they just have new members, but the official news, never says that they have broken up. All I know of Ashley is the her name is Ashley Grobell and she plays the piano, guitar, bass, cello, piano organ, beat box, knuckle cracking, as her myspace says. We just have to wait (:. --Sarah sofía 18:37, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I've updated the page, let me know if you see any errors. -- Huntster T • @ • C 02:30, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well Done :D!, but was important to notifiy the "was", because they never said breakup, thank you for the update (:. --Sarah sofía 00:43, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Interwiki link
[edit]Hello, I tried to add an interwiki link [[fr:Lillix]] on this page, but the spam protection filter prevents me from doing it. Could someone else do it ? Thanks
Svartkell 16:40, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Done. -- Huntster T • @ • C 17:04, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Bass player replacement and MySpace blog links
[edit]- I've added the name of the new bass player as anounced on their MySpace,
and I deleted MySpace blog links, because they are taken as spam and I could edit, so if someone could fix that. Thank you (: --Sarah sofía 23:30, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Also reworded statement as the only indication of the change is given in the lineup. Odd. -- Huntster T • @ • C 09:49, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you (:, and thank you for taking care of Lillix page (:. --Sarah sofía 04:07, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I am redirected Scott Thompson (musician) here, WP:MUSIC says that band member pages should redirect to the band page unless they pass WP:MUSIC on their own, or pass the notability guidlines, which Scott Thomson does not.--kelapstick (talk) 03:56, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Also redirected Lacey-Lee Evin and Tasha-Ray Evin, no indication of notability outside of Lillix, Louise Burns and Alicia Warrington were not redirected as they have an indication of notability outside of Lillix.--kelapstick (talk) 22:23, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- After going through the article on Louise Burns (and removing fan-site type material), I redirected here too, there was a link to one of her post-Lillix ventures, Ruby Blue, which was an indication of being a member of two notable bands. However the link to Ruby Blue is to a band from the UK, not her solo venture. Since the only thing she has done that is notable (by Wikipedia standards) is playing in Lillix, I redirected here as per WP:MUSIC.--kelapstick (talk) 15:32, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
