Organized crime WikiProject template
[edit]@NinHawk8940: It's bizarre to add the {{WikiProject Organized Crime}} template when there is no mention of it in the article text. Can you explain, or add a statement with sourcing to the article? Otherwise I don't think the WikiProject template is appropriate on the biography of a recently-deceased person. @GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) Lil Loaded was remembered for his music as well as his criminal activity but when you mentioned adding the organized crime tag, overall, I realized it is not necessary to include the add. Especially very soon after his death, apologizes and condolences. I mainly added the tag because other hip hop artists with similar history like YNW Melly had a organized crime tag, but in retrospect, not to the same degree as a artist like YNW Melly or even artists like 21 Savage & Cardi B. Removing the tag (minimum for now) NinHawk8940 (talk) 16:44, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

Cause of death
[edit]Pinging you C.Fred since there's a bit of an edit war happening, it appears. I'm also seeing that the content has been removed from the infobox, but the "Personal life and death" section continues to say he died by suicide. It sounds like his lawyer has said his death was a suicide, and The Dallas Morning News reported that "Cedar Hill police said Tuesday that a relative found Robertson with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound about 11:20 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1500 block of Allen Drive." It sounds like the issue is that the medical examiner's office has not yet confirmed a cause of death. I don't spend a lot of my time editing biographies of those who've recently died; do we normally wait for official ME confirmation? GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 19:38, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- @GorillaWarfare: The key word to me in the source is "apparently". If the infobox said cause of death was "gunshot wound", no problems. I'm even fine with "gunshot would, apparently self-inflicted". Until the ME has said something, we need to attribute it as either apparently self-inflicted or that his lawyer described his death as by suicide. —C.Fred (talk) 20:59, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- I've actually removed it from the infobox entirely, since guidance at Template:Infobox person is to only include the information there if the cause of death was somehow relevant to the subject's notability. But do you think the statement in the "Personal life and death" section needs attribution? GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 21:35, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Yes. Editing to "died, apparently by suicide, on..." would be the clearest and easiest fix. Otherwise, need to say the lawyer says it's suicide. —C.Fred (talk) 21:46, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Makes sense to me, I've made the change. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 21:58, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Before using the stage name Lil Loaded, he released a number of songs under the name YCN Gang6a6y. It should have been mentioned that this was part of his early career.

According to news report around his death, he shot himself and found at his house on Allen Drive in Cedar Hill, Texas. NOT Dallas https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/dallas-rapper-lil-loaded-dead/
Please correct the location in both the infobox and category. --Loweed (talk) 06:15, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
