"light fixtures" vs "light fixture bodies"

[edit]

@User:Wtshymanski The article states clearly that: All light fixtures have a fixture body and one or more lamps.. So I added the sentence: However, light fixture bodies, containing no lamp, are usually sold as "light fixtures", but you rejected my edit, as "redundant", which means that the information I added was already written in the article. So please, show me where. Perhaps you confuse the word "redundant" with "obvious". Maybe the added information is obvious to most readers, but not to all readers, especially to kids and non native speakers. Let me give you an analogy. You can explain to a child what the sun is e.g. that it shines in the sky during the day and gives the earth heat and light, but never mention that the sun is a star because you think that it is obvious to everyone. 85.193.252.19 (talk) 00:57, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Wtshymanski You did not join the discussion, so I restored my version. 85.193.252.19 (talk) 00:12, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
