This article clearly needs a lot more information, and also this article needs to be consistent with other band's articles on Wikipedia. Manm hk 19:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article should have more information on:

Paul Tucker and Tunde Baiyewu, the singles released, the albums released, etc. Look at other articles such as U2 so that you can have a clear image on this.

Include a Lighthouse Family discography page as well.

"The Lighthouse Family split up in early 2003 \"due to a heavy promotional schedule and the incredible international success of 'Whatever Gets You Through The Day'\"."

An explaination of this I think would be good. Bands don't usually break up because of success. Normally break up due to lack of success.Gregory.currie 15:40, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There should be a singles discography, pages about each of the released singles and an extension to the album discography which will include the Greatest Hits. --Manm hk 15:02, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've now done the Lighthouse Family's album and singles discography, along with information about all the albums. I've also done Lifted. Can someone help me to complete with all the singles that are released by the Lighthouse Family? Manm hk 15:10, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ocean Drive Lighthouse Family.JPG

[edit]

Image:Ocean Drive Lighthouse Family.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:00, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox

[edit]

I just created a Lighthouse Family themed userbox if anyone's interested.

This user thinks that Tunde Baiyewu deserves a knighthood.

Ocean Drive

[edit]

Ocean Drive was released in 1995, not in 1996, in accordance with information on the cover of the album. James Michael 1 (talk) 22:22, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Peden's hiring"

[edit]

Who is Peden? The name is only mentioned once, and is not the name of the band or either of its members.84.243.236.9 (talk) 16:43, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edited Peden into Producer Mike Peden. —Allenjambalaya (talk) 14:02, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Paul's role

[edit]

I'm somewhat puzzled by about this. "Singer Tunde Baiyewu and songwriter Paul Tucker" suggests that Paul Tucker didn't perform but merely wrote the songs. My first thought was that this is unusual. Usually the members of a musical act are those who actually perform. For instance, Bernie Taupin was Elton John's long-collaborating lyricist, but the songs from this partnership are generally credited solely to Elton John, not a duo consisting of Elton and Bernie.

I see that Paul is shown playing a keyboard in the infobox photo. The Orange Lights states that he is a keyboard player. But was this a regular role of his within Lighthouse Family, or did he do it as a one-off for that performance? I can't see anything in the text about the roles of the members within the duo besides that statement in the lead. — Smjg (talk) 12:36, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
