Questionable information regarding first broadcast.
[edit]As currently written, the article states: There is disagreement about exactly when and on what radio station the Doughboys first broadcast, but it is generally accepted that by January 1931 the band had started playing on KFJZ-AM. There is no refernce given.
However, the Wikipedia article on KFJZ states: The station started in 1947 as KCNC...
This information should probably removed, so the sentence reads simply There is disagreement about exactly when and on what radio station the Doughboys first broadcast.
Will make the change in few days if no one objects.Xc6uva (talk) 17:25, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
(Later.) Ok found this:
http://www.dfwretroplex.com/amlist.html
(it's a long page; skip down to the subhead that says, 1370; apparently this was the original frequency of KFJZ) which indicates the information on the Wikipedia article on KFJZ is in error, NOT the information on this page. No changes will be made by me; if somebody wants to try and straighten out the KFJZ article, they are welcome to it; it reads like a press release from the owners.
