Removed the plot summary section

[edit]

Here's a puzzler...

OK, so, most plot summaries are overly long, too detailed, and full of information that ends up being quirky interpretations by the specific person writing them that are not necessarily accurate. For a long time I've said the plot summaries should be cites to reliable sources. But some people who care more about having them than following encyclopedic standards ignore the original research aspect and got a consensus of people to decide that editors watching or reading a work of fiction can then be allowed to summarize the work.

But this article was worse. This is a lost film. No editor here could have seen it to write a summary. So where did the info come from? Clearly it had to come from outside source. We don't know if that source meets WP:RS standards. And since the information has to come from some very limited sources (who could have even seen it?), not mentioning what source was used would make the section plagiarism at best.

There was no justification fo keeping any of the content of this section, so I removed it completely. If someone wants to re-add anything about the plot, please find sources that meet the rules outlind in WP:RS and cite them appropriately. DreamGuy (talk) 00:26, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
