Is there any way to restore the infobox without it affecting the map? It was removed with this diff. Perhaps there needs to be more text, to force the map section below that of the infobox? --Jza84 |  Talk  00:24, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Error on the Map

[edit]

The map shows the district council area of Derry superimposed on top of the lieutenancy map. A lieutenancy map should show a much smaller "City of Londonderry". Check out the eight Lord Lieutenants in Northern Ireland.

Derry is one of the 26 district council areas and is not one of the lieutanancy areas.

I don't now have any confidence in the rest of the information in this article. I was looking up something about the the West Riding of Yorkshire 86.145.103.118 (talk) 14:41, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The map shows the outline of Tweeddale but it is not named. — Preceding unsigned comment added by I'mout (talkcontribs) 15:46, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Ceremonial counties of England

[edit]

These two articles are on the same topic, but Ceremonial counties of England is more filled out. This page should redirect there. It even explicitly says on that page that a Lieutenancy area is another name for a ceremonial county. 2600:6C51:797F:41C3:4D5C:DCFF:E2A7:F39C (talk) 21:29, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That does not apply to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so it does not look correct to redirect this page to there. ネイ (talk) 15:38, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
