book reviews by historians
[edit]We should find, cite and summarize several book reviews in history journals like American Historical Review. I am sure there are plenty of them.Rich (talk) 23:42, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Minor Tweak
[edit]I'm new to this, so I apologize if my formatting is off or if I broke protocol; however, I made a minor edit to the wording of the last sentence of the Overview section. When I looked at the source linked - an article from David Horowitz - I did not see information that backed up the assertion of the original wording, namely that many individuals had problems with Mr. Lowen's claims. I tweaked it to more accurately reflect the source cited. I would imagine there are better critiques of the book out there that could offer a more even-handed assessment, but I also thought it seemed inaccurate to portray one person's critique as that of many. I also thought that it should be noted that Mr. Horowitz, as he notes himself in the article cited, is not impartial nor an academic, which is not to say that his insight or views are not valuable, but merely that that should be disclosed in some way.
