Question:
Would it be illegal 'Original Research' to point out, as a public service, the most notable Olympic fact about Liechtenstein, namely that, per capita, it has won more Olympic medals, and more Olympic Gold medals, than any other country? As far as I know, this is not explicitly shown anywhere, but can be fairly easily checked by looking up Wikipedia's table of all-time Olympic medals. It was a bit farcical to hear the BBC's 2012 Opening Ceremony commentary as Liechtenstein marched by, basically 'Liechtenstein has never won any medals in the Summer Olympics' - in one sense, this is the most successful country in Olympic history, and the official Olympic broadcaster seems totally unaware of this, probably like almost everybody else on this planet.Tlhslobus (talk) 22:59, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
