Tugela-Vaal Water Project
The Liebenbergsvlei is actually a part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, not the Tugela-Vaal Water Project. It is a tributary to the Wilge, which turns out to be part of the Tugela-Vaal Water Project. The As River transports water from the Lesotho Highlands Water Project from the tunnel, into Liebenbergsvlei at Sol Plaatje Dam near Bethlehem, Free State. The Liebenbergsvlei then flows in a northerly direction towards Frankfort, where it finally joins the Wilge. Reference needed!
