Impact crater
[edit]Since there is a reference to an impact crater, the location of the crater ought to be given.Royalcourtier (talk) 03:07, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

Featured on Bing
[edit]Libyan desert glass is a featured search on Bing for (some?) Edgium users today. Not sure how many people get the same content or if it's randomised. We might see some extra traffic to this article ... Pelagic ( messages ) – (12:28 Wed 16, AEST) 02:28, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
Additional research
[edit]Cavosie and Koeberl (2019) used electron backscatter diffraction to detect structural patterns that indicate former reidite within zircon grains in Libyan desert glass. They say "high-pressure shock waves ... thus preclude an origin of LDG by airburst alone".
