Problems to be addressed

[edit]

This seems to be written as an advertisement for Association of Research Libraries and their software package, services, etc. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:43, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am not affiliated with ARL or LibQUAL in any way (I am a librarian in Israel and they are in Washington, D.C.). It is not clear to me why the article seems to be written as an advertisement or contains promotional content - pls. explain.
Also, there are plenty of references to secondary sources so why do you think there are only primary sources?
Why is this not a worldwide view - because I mention Israel?? Lynne.porat (talk) 12:49, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The initial version used trademark signs, etc.; and was much more aggressive about pushing the ARL and LibQUAL. Even now the article still is heavy on LibQUALL and on references to the experience of your own library in Israel. We just want a more balanced article on a topic of global interest to those of us who care about libraries. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:25, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm agreeing with Orangemike at the moment, although much of the bias has been removed, the issues tagged still remain (though it's less of an advert than it used to be). Cliff12345 (talk) 22:06, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please read the article again and let me know in "Talk" if it now meets Wikipedia requirements. The changes I made were noted in "Edit summary". Thanks. Lynne.porat (talk) 19:08, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Much improved; mazel tov! --Orange Mike | Talk 19:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks:) Perhaps you could take a look at two other sites I have been editing (both of which were created by other people some time ago and have undergone many changes) but seem to have been overlooked by the Wikipedia editors: Ramot Menashe and John Edwards.
