updated mintage numbers
[edit]I'd like to inquire about the updated mintage numbers and where that information is coming from. What was posted was information that was gleaned from the books by Don Bailey. If you're not familiar with him, he is THE authority (in the US) on Mexican numismatics. He devoted his life to researching them and had a close relationship with the Mexican Mint. The Mexican Mint is notorious for not keeping good records, but there's no reason (in my mind) to think that what Don Baily published would be incorrect, especially regarding some of the early silver and gold proof sets.
