The result of the move request was: While the content of the article does include data for Comandante Fontoura River, there is no consensus to change the topic of the article to that. Instead, the nominator is recommended to follow No such user's advice and fix the data here before creating a new article for Comandante Fontoura River. BilledMammal (talk) 14:29, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
This is wrong river, described at FAO's site. If You look at the map of Mato Grosso, You will see, that the Rio da Liberdade is a small river which no way could be 450 km long and could not start in Serra do Roncador, which is much southways. Even the coordinates given at the FAO site (12°13′S 51°26′W / 12.217°S 51.433°W points that it is indeed the River of Comandante Fontoura, which mouth is nearby the Rio da Liberdade. But it is much bigger river. So, it must be either renamed to Comandante Fontoura River or spilt to another article together with FAO source. Hugo.arg (talk) 18:57, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Liberdade River (Xingu River tributary) → Comandante Fontoura River – (please see rationale above) < opened by > Hugo.arg (talk) 19:00, 15 February 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 06:24, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Hugo.arg: After staring at the maps for quite some time (see also https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/474077419#map=12/-9.7788/-52.1494 ), I see that this article has correct coordinates of the mouth of the Liberdade, but it is FAO source that mixes up things and misidentifies the river (and should be discarded, in favor of a Brazilian source). To reduce confusion, why don't you simply fix the data here and create a new article for the Comandante Fontoura River? We don't even have pt:Rio Comandante Fontoura, unfortunately. https://rigeo.cprm.gov.br/jspui/handle/doc/11359 should be a decent source. No such user (talk) 13:54, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
