I believe this software is notable, because it appears to be the *only* free, open source C or C++ library for PDF generation. There is a Wikipedia page that lists all sorts of PDF software, and libHaru was removed from this list because it didn't have its own page, so therefore I created this page. Perhaps libHaru doesn't need its own independent article, but I do believe that it should be included in Wikipedia somewhere, and I would be be open to suggestions for a more appropriate location.

As a software developer, I actually came to Wikipedia looking for an alternative to libHaru, and found that even libHaru wasn't included, not to mention any potential alternatives. There is also NPW (Nyctergatis PDF Writer, new BSD license), a simple library with support for styled text, justification, etc. Engelec (talk) 17:39, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
