– One of the worst fests of incomplete disambiguation I've come across in a while. The primary topic for "Liaquat Ali" or "Liaquat Ali Khan", spelled either with or without a u, is clearly Liaquat Ali Khan, the assassinated prime minister of Pakistan, hence all of these obscure politicians need disambiguators that don't apply to him, or each other.

This is straightforward for the two politicians from Bangladesh, who are ambiguous with each other, so move both to disambiguate by city and redirect "Liaquat Ali (politician)" to Liaquat Ali Khan and "Liaquat Ali (Bangladeshi politician)" to the disambiguation page.

I have no idea how to disambiguate 3 - the natural suggestion of "Liaquat Ali Khan (Punjab politician)" is unfortunately still ambiguous with the prime minister as he was born in Punjab, and also ambiguous with Liaqat Ali Khan (politician) who's from Mutlan which is part of Punjab. "Liaquat Ali Khan (Sargodha politician)"? "Liaquat Ali Khan (Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab)"? "Liaquat Ali Khan (Pakistan Muslim League (N) politician)" ("Liaquat Ali Khan (Pakistan Muslim League politician)" doesn't work as it's ambiguous with 5) None of those really feel right.

4 is straightforward - none of the other politicians seem to have any affiliation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so that term will work.

5 has similar problems to 3. "Liaqat Ali Khan (Mutlan politician)?" "Liaqat Ali Khan (member of the National Assembly of Pakistan)"?

Redirect all of the last three titles to Liaquat Ali Khan as they all apply to the Prime Minister and whether the name is spelled with or without a u appears to be trivial. * Pppery * it has begun... 03:41, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
