[edit]I've removed the notibility tag, due to there begin no reasonable question of notability, and there being no discussion on this page. --CalPaterson 17:45, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Well maybe you should follow the links on the template then. Is there any reasonable way in which one can argue that this is a notable software per WP:SOFTWARE? Can you argue that it is not WP:SPAM? If so, please argue, add content and then do remove the template. Pascal.Tesson 19:54, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't see how it's not notable - on Freshmeat it is listed as the fourth most popular non-linear editing software (behind cinelerra, avidemux - which is not a multipurpose video editor, and blender - which is a 3d renderer). The LiVES site receives >30,000 page hits per month, and there is an active mailing list with over 200 members. Entering "lives" into Google, brings it up as the first entry. This is despite it being still a beta version (I expect the 1.0 version to be ready later this year). And it cetainly meets the criteria for 2.2 in WP:SOFTWARE -- salsaman@xs4all.nl 06 Sep 2006.
