[edit]

I was a customer of LSB and had serious problems after LSB and FNB merged to become NewBridge Bank. I was allegedly sexually harassed by a teller, allegedly became irate as a result, and had my account closed against my will. The branch manager I spoke with, Steve Owen, basically said that when I became a customer, I signed terms stating they could close my account at any time for any reason. Mr. Owen actually ended up being helpful, and did manage to hold off the closure until I received my funds.

A friend of mine living in Thomasville, NC shared stories with me about previous LSB customers allegedly being charged different fees than what is on the fee schedule. This allegedly occurred after the merger to become NewBridge Bank.

Now, I know, the problem with the above accounts is that they are probably considered original research, and the second account is based entirely on hearsay evidence. But I believe it is newsworthy that a number of customers who were previously pleased with LSB or FNB complain of being mistreated after the merger. --75.177.39.22 (talk) 06:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
