It seems like there could be a "Topology" section on the Unit square page. Both that page and this one are relatively short. Any feedback? siddharthist (talk) 02:58, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't seem necessary (weak oppose), as there are plenty of topological spaces with their own page, such as those listed at Category:Topological spaces, and it might given undue weight to this particular topology to have it feature on the unit square page alone. Fixed semi-base

[edit]

The semi-base didn't include both intervals [0 x) and (x 1]; I added them. 24.111.140.15 (talk) 19:34, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your recent changes. As far as I can see, they seem to disagree with the Steen, L. A.; Seebach, J. A. (1995), Counterexamples in Topology, Dover, p. 3, ISBN 048668735X. If you want to alter the definition then it's a good idea to add a reference (see wp:v and wp:rs). Fly by Night (talk) 20:07, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

reorganization

[edit]

I changed this page to be similar to Long line. I deleted the definition of the order topology (it was wrong, what was presented was the Right order topology). I added a Properties section summarizing relevant properties.Mennucc (talk) 16:54, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
