enjoyed the later single life
[edit]"Playing the debonnaire leading man, Cody enjoyed the later single life of "a man's man", which added to his acting persona"
What does that even mean? Also "debonaire" is misspelled. 2A02:AA1:1629:6E2B:C1A0:5E7F:D67E:27D7 (talk) 04:46, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
"he successfully transitioned into talking pictures and to even better roles."
[edit]What is the meaning of this, and what are examples from his talking films? He and Aileen Pringle had their own "series" at MGM in the late 1920's. During the sound period, except for a very few leading roles in Poverty Row films, he was a supporting player. I do not denigrate that, nor his performances, which are consistently fine. However, if such a statement is going to be made, kindly provide some examples of such "even better roles" from amongst the two dozen talking films in which he appeared. 50.32.154.61 (talk) 00:56, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
