[edit]If anyone has access to Tonight show archives, it was Joanne Woodward who explained the name-change from Archer to Harper during a contemporary appearance )along with her husband) on the Carson show. Newman's H-luck ended cataclysmically with the b.o. failure of Hombre. 71.55.106.189 (talk) 20:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Radio
[edit]Section 4, 'Radio' could use either some punctuation or some other form of clarification. I'd give it a shot, but I'm not sure what the intent was. It appears that someone stopped editing without finishing. Rags (talk) 12:40, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
How many Archer novels?
[edit]Thanks to all those who have helped write this informative article. I'm a bit confused by the statement that Archer appears in 18 novels, as the page seems to have a list of 19. Am I overlooking something or mis-counting? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.227.88.253 (talk) 01:02, 28 February 2017 (UTC) UPDATE: I caught the mistake. "Meet Me at the Morgue" (1953) was listed. This novel does not feature Lew Archer; it's a stand-alone, like "The Ferguson Affair". The list has been corrected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.227.88.253 (talk) 16:25, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
