Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because because if the nominator used just 6 nanoseconds and performed a Google search they would see multiple obituaries such as these. — Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 01:00, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The point of Wikipedia is not to provide people with an article without information. The point is to provide the information. If you feel that there is something important enough in those obituaries, please feel free to add it to the article. Otherwise, I will keep the speedy template on the page. For more information on speedy deletions, see WP:Speedy. Thanks! Gwickwire (talk) 02:07, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Stop wasting everyone's time and spend 6 nanoseconds doing research instead of tagging 60 seconds after the first sentence is added to the article. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 03:38, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
