Military Service
[edit]Like Arthur Levenson, an unusual number of Levensons have served in the US and UK Armies. I will add my research at some point. One of them was a Tech Sergeant and one of the only non-African-Americans in the Tuskeegee Airmen (Finance NCO). Stephen Austin Levenson served in the RAF and was KIA during the battle of Britain. Abraham (New Mexico Volunteer Infantry) and Robert Levenson (Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry) served in the Infantry in the Spanish-American War.

Levenson, Major, British Army, led the 2/18th Hussars (Cavalry) at the first Battle of the Marne.
