Talk:Leung Chin-man appointment controversy/GA1
Appearance
- This is a quick-fail. I looked at a couple citations, and the problems were severe enough to warrant immediate failure. I'm only going to list two examples; please know that you should double-check every citation to every reference to address problems similar to the ones described below. Merely fixing the two or three problems explicitly given below will not be enough.
- The paragraphs in the Backgrounds section are missing topic sentences and conclusions to provide an explanation of the information offered.
- The quick-fail problems are the cites/references,though:
- The sentence beginning "Directorate officers wishing..." is a straightforward case of copyright violation. The text is quoted word for word from the source text, without quotation marks. There is a copyright symbol at the bottom of the source page.
- The sentence beginning "This sparked fears..." is sourced to "Albert Wong (25 May 2006). 'Audit chief in deal on judicial review', Hong Kong Standard.". However, I found no mention in that source of fears of potential loss of post-retirement income.
- Please double-check every cite to every reference. Make sure the information immediately preceding the citaion actually appears in the cited reference. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources, and the articles in the "See also" section of that article.
- Please feel free to ping me on my talk page (User talk:Ling.Nut) if you have any questions.
