hook and content

[edit]

Hi, I saw this coming up and thought that was an odd hook. The source says.

"It is often harvested and sold for food, though it is is susceptible to paralytic shellfish poisoning" [sic]

Is this mentioned somewhere else, is it a notable concern, a possibility, happened once, in theory could occur as it might with many species of filter feeders that ingest the pathogenic organisms?. Is a local export industry about to collapse when word gets out? cygnis insignis 19:19, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

notes

[edit]

Apologies, again, I enjoyed the article, however, I note … cygnis insignis 13:57, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • The mention of "chemical species" is an error, or something I don't get?
  • I hesitated from opening a taxonomy section, which would allow context to the sea of synonyms, as data it is a little noisy.
